     Hi,

I am trying to monitor a couple of Sun Ultra Enterprise 450 with
Solaris 2.6 and its Solaris snmp packages. MRTG is 2.8.8. I have the
     following questions:

     1. ETHERNET and TOKEN-RING cards:
Device 2 is Fast Ethernet and device 3 is Token-Ring. I use the
     following OIDs:

     eth: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.2&1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.2
     tr: 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.3&1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.3

My problem is that the IN value for the Token-Ring card
(1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.3) is always 0. Any idea why this could be
happening? Are the OIDs wrong perhaps? Some colleagues have suggested
installing the SunNet Manager instead of the standard SNMP packages.
Any comments regarding this or any other solution to this problem?

     2. CPU LOAD, MEM, DISK IO:
These machines have all two processors. What OID should I use to
monitor CPU load, memory utilization and Disk IO in general? I have
tried things like 1.3.6.1.4.1.42.3.13.3 (rsSystemProcessTime) from the
sunHostPerf table, but the result is <error status: noSuchName>. Am I
missing anything? I have added the following line to mrtg.cfg to no
     avail...

     LoadMIBs: /opt/SUNWconn/snm/agents/sun.mib

     Thanks,

     Curro
