[mrtg] SunOS SNMP daemon problems?

Hi Folks, been a while since I was on the list(everything is working
fine :-). However, I just compiled MRTG on a SunOS 5.6, and then ran
cfgmaker public at localhost to get traffic stats.

However, it failed, and it looks to me like the snmp daemon didn't
like the OID that cfgmaker gave it, because it spit out:

# Add a WorkDir: /some/path line to this file

SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
   error status: noSuchName
   index 1 (OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0)
SNMPv1_Session (remote host: "localhost" [127.0.0.1].161
                   community: "public"
                  request ID: 977748811
                 PDU bufsize: 8000 bytes
                     timeout: 2s
                     retries: 5
                     backoff: 1)
SNMPGET Problem for sysDescr sysContact sysName sysLocation ifNumber
sysObjectID on public at localhost

Can anyone who has monitored a SunOS box using mrtg to communicate
with snmpdx help me out here? Can't use snmpwalk, SunOS doesn't come
with one.
