[mrtg] Threshold Settings on MRTG

Can any one help me.

I have set up monitoring of my PVC's local Switched Backbone's and Router
CPU utilisation ect no problems there every thing going great. What I want
to do is set up a threshold that will mail and alert once exceeded. Is there
any way I can do this I have checked the documentation and I know it is
possible I just can't figure it out at present.
