[mrtg] POLL: graph no data as 0 ?

Hi,

I have been reading the complaints about the repeat the last known
value behavior of mrtg ...

As mentioned before the right thing todo is to log an *UNKNOWN* value. Now
this is not trivial, and a number of issues are in involved with this. But it
is implemented in rrdtool (www.caida.org/Tools/RRDtool).

For mrtg I can offer to change the behavior to 'log 0 for missing data'.
I will do so for version 2.8.3 within 3 days if nobody comes up with
convincing reasons for keeping the traditional behavior ...

Pleas mail your opinion on this matter *IN PRIVATE* to me ...

cheers
Tobi
