That's definitely a hard drive error.  I don't have any IDE drives around
so I don't know alot about them, but you may have a failing hard drive on
your hands.  How old is the drive?

Actually, I have a box wiht a bad hdd, though it is running FreeBSD, and I
get lots of 
wd0s1f: hard error reading fsbn 335390 of 335376-335391 (wd0s1 bn 1564190;
cn 387 tn 60 sn 26) (status 59<rdy,seekdone,drq,err> error 40<uncorr>)
errors.

Do you know exactly what's causing this message?  MRTG is  I/O intensive,
but I wouldn't think it would cause problems to a hard drive that was in
good condition.
