Depends on what you are monitoring. Time to get a MIB Browser such as
getif so you can take a look at everything and find something the device
isn't doing. Such as, FECN and BECN count on a router that isn't doing
anything remotely related to Frame-Relay. Monitoring traffic on the AUX
port of a Cisco router that doesn't have anything attached to the AUX
port. Of course in the future any of this could change, but with proper
documentation this shouldn't be a problem.
