Ah. It seems that VLAN interfaces only monitor the IP traffic to the IP
on the switch. I proved this by floodpinging the switch and lo and
behold, the graph shot up to 175K.

I'll stick with the 2:public@ + 3:public@ for now... it's taking a
little longer for mrtg to run but semes to be working at least.
