Wouldn't it be easier and quicker to query a single box multiple times,
then to go out over the wire and query all of the boxes. When one of the
95 machines is turned off how long does it take MRTG to query it. When
all of them are turned off, how long does it take. A switch or hub that
is turned on 24 hours a day is going to return the information much
quicker, and keep the five minute window streamlined much better.
