I have used NT Performance Monitor and it shows the CPU utilization as it should
be. I have seen spikes to 100%, but it is not constant. The
problems is with the blue line that remains at 100% while the green spikes
actually represent CPU usage (See the attached .gif file ) and MRTG displays
Max Usage 100.0 CPU (100.0%) Average Usage 100.0 CPU (100.0%) Current Usage
100.0 CPU (100.0%).
I have the following settings in my mrtg.cfg file : Target[uszhosna02_CPU]:
.1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1.4.9.0&.1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1.4.9.0:public at 172.16.140.41
Thanks for your help.
Jody

Did you check processor usage using NT Performance Monitor? Does it show
100%?

Has anyone seen the behavior displayed below, where an NT Server with a
single
processor charts at 100% CPU utilization constantly.
(Embedded image moved to file: pic23504.pcx)
Max Usage 100.0 CPU (100.0%) Average Usage 100.0 CPU (100.0%) Current
Usage
100.0 CPU (100.0%)
