[mrtg] Re: again CPU utilization Question

I was able to glean CPU and Memory utilization calculations for Bay ASN and AN routers from Optivity. This is the way Optivity calculates the values it displays:

CPU Utilization = wfResourceTotalCpuUsed / wfResourceTotalCpuMax

Memory Utilization = (wfKernelMemorySize - wfKernelMemoryFree) / wfKernelMemorySize

Buffer Utilization = (wfKernelBuffersTotal - wfKernelBuffersFree) / wfKernelBuffersTotal

Here are the mrtg.cfg definitions I use. I display CPU on one graph (blue line and green bars exactly match) and buffer and memory on another graph. The values exactly match what Optivity shows. Nevertheless, the graphs are not particularly interesting:

Note: n in the OID is the instance ID.

Hi

I would like to monitor the information about CPU utilization and memory size
of my switch and routers.
We have 450 Bay Stack, Accelar 1150, 1200 Nortel devices and I am wondering
wheather I need any private MIB or MRTG can do it for me.
Any idea what would be the symbolical SNMP variable names for CPU utilization
and memory size.

Thanks

Payman
