[mrtg] MRTG config problems

Hi All,

I am currently trying to get an MRTG script written to log interface errors
on a cisco7200.

My interface number (index value) is 5
My mib string for interface errors is 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14 and
1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.20

Target[hurley]: .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14:xxxxxxx at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
MaxBytes[hurley]: 12500000
Options[hurley]: growright
Title[hurley]: hurley (if-errors): FastEthernet1/1
PageTop[hurley]: <H1>Traffic Analysis for FastEthernet1/1
 </H1>
 <TABLE>
   <TR><TD>System:</TD><TD>hurley in </TD></TR>
   <TR><TD>Maintainer:</TD><TD></TD></TR>

I'd like my graph to map both errors IN and errors OUT

I have tried a variety of combinations in the target mib string but i get
errors along the lines of

SNMPGET Problem for .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.5.0 .1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14 sysUptime
sysName on xxxxx at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
SNMPGET: Failed to reach target:
"mailto:.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.1.5.0&.1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14:xxxxx at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. I
tried multiple times!

Can anyone point me in the right direction - I have a feeling that I am
missing something fundamental here....
I know with the sample of the config file that i provide above that i do not
reference the index value - so how do i do that???? I've tried putting it on
the end and also adding it infront of the string for IF errors.... : (
