[mrtg] Redhat 6.1 monitoring a NT box

Help , I have redhat 6.1 , and I want to monitor an NT 4.0 running a
exchange 5.5 server
another SNMP util (whats up gold) I can walk the tree in the servers and see
stats. But trying to monitor 

1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1.23.4.0..    in the error it seams like MRTG 2.8
adds numbers to the OID ???
