[mrtg] BRIs without description in mrtg 2.9.0pre18

while having a look at mrtg 2.9.0pre18s feature Descr:community at cisco
I get this:

### Interface 6 >> Descr: '' | Name: '' | Ip: '192.168.1.1' | Eth: '' ###
### The following interface is commented out because:
### * --ifref=descr is not unique for this interface
# 
# Target[192.168.1.1_6]: 6:community at 192.168.1.1

why is there no Descr: or Name: for this BRI i/f with a leased line.

Serials and Ethernet i/f work fine.

snmpwalk show this:

interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifIndex.6 = 6
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.6 = "BRI2/1:1"
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifType.6 = propPointToPointSerial(22)
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifMtu.6 = 1500
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifSpeed.6 = Gauge: 64000
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifPhysAddress.6 = ""
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifAdminStatus.6 = up(1)
interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifOperStatus.6 = up(1)
