[mrtg] Discrepancy in interface OID versus frame relay traffic OID resul ts

I have a small 3COM router with an ethernet on interface 1 and a single
frame relay connection using DLCI 16 on interface 2. In MRTG's mibhelp.html
I found these traffic OIDs:

ifInOctets (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.10.x) inbound traffic on interface x
frInOctets (1.3.6.1.2.1.10.32.2.1.9.x.y) inbound FR traffic on interface x
DLCI y

ifOutOctets (1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.16.x) outbound traffic on interface x
frOutOctets (1.3.6.1.2.1.10.32.2.1.7.x.y) outbound FR traffic on interface x
DLCI y

Since there is only one DLCI on interface 2, I figured that no matter
whether I used the interface OID or the frame relay OID, I should get the
same graph, and that is, in fact, what I see for inbound traffic. But with
outbound traffic, the values from the frame relay OID are slightly larger,
about 5%, than the interface OID.

Does this look like a bug in the 3COM's MIB-2 implementation to you folks?
Can anyone think of any other reason why this might be this way?

Much thanks,
