Yes, there are instructions
(http://ee-staff.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/nt-guide.html) on how to do
it on the MRTG web site
http://ee-staff.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/mrtg.html. If you want the
resulting web pages to be generally available to browsers on your network
(not just to you sitting at your workstation) you'll need to associate them
with a web server somehow. You can turn your workstation into a web server
with Microsoft Personal Web Server (I'm doing this--works great), or you can
configure MRTG to put the web pages somewhere that a web server has defined
as part of a web (for example, a virtual disk directory that both your
workstation and the web server can access).

Following these instructions I was able to go from downloading MRTG to
looking at an MRTG web page showing traffic on one router's interfaces in
just 1/2 hour. One thing the instructions don't tell you (at least they
didn't when I first set this up) is how to handle the scheduling. I used the
"Scheduled Tasks" Control Panel to get MRTG to run every 5 minutes
throughout the day.
