If you are running version 2.2 then I don't know what the problem could be. I
don't have any problem loading mibs with the .my extension. I do get some errors
logged in the getif.log file, but this doesn't stop it from letting me walk any
mib I want.

I have been to Cisco's site and downloaded some of their mib's but they have
a .my extension and do not seem to work with Getif.  I have other mibs (with
a .mib extension) in the Getif mibs directory and they show up in the tree
but not Cisco's.  I tried changing the extension to .mib but still no luck.
Is there some step I am missing?

http://www.cisco.com/public/mibs/supportlists/
find the device, then follow the links.
