[mrtg] IPSec

Hello,
 
Does anyone know if there is a way to monitor IPSec, or PPTP, traffic
independent of total traffic on an interface? Basically, we have multiple
routers that terminate IPSec tunnels enabling connectivity to remote private
networks. The rest of the traffic is outbound, or inbound, to/from the
Internet. I could use flowscan but most of the remote routers are not Cisco.
