 Hi, you could try ifref=descr option while buliding your cfg files for
 each device so that any interface changes will not jeopardise your current
 cfg files, ie. you need not redo them. You could just append the new
 Targets to the current cfg file if the need be and remove the unnecessary
 ones too.
 I used to have the same pb too when new interfaces were added or even when
 a device rebooted.
 For this you need to use the latest version of MRTG to make use of the
 features.
