Solution:
After some testing I found that probably there is a problem with latest
(2.9.6) mrtg script. I replaced it with a script from version 2.9.4 and
thresholds work as expected.

Subject: [mrtg] Problems with thresholds on version 2.9.6

Hello,
I had version 2.8.12 on Linux with thresholds enabled. Everything worked
fine. I just upgraded to version 2.9.6 and thresholds do not work anymore.
For ThreshMinI or ThreshMinO the alarms are fired all the time regardless of
the threshold value. The alarm that I receive reports that threshold value
is: HASH(0x8488768), which obviously makes no sense. For ThreshMaxI and
ThreshMaxO the alarms do not work at all, also regardless of the threshold
value. I use the same .cfg files with new version.
Thanks
