[mrtg] Thresholds

Greetings all!!  Can anyone tell me how the variables are passed by
ThreshMaxI and ThreshMaxO to ThreshProgI and ThrshProgO?  I am trying to get
the thresholds checking to send me an email when a certain value is reached.
I am using mrtg-2.9.4 on solaris 8.  Thanks a bunch.
