[mrtg] OID's

Where is the best place or the best way to get all of the OID's from, or 
for a cisco router (models, 5500, 6500,7500, and 8500). I went to cisco's 
FTP site, but I found alot of the oid's did not work. Also, Is there a way 
to do a look up to make sure you are actually monitoring the object that 
you think you are. for example you think .1.2.3.4.17.2 is cpuload but are 
not sure?

Any help would be appreciated.
