[mrtg] How do I fix this error message?

Hello All,

	I am installing mrtg 2.8.9 from RPM's and all seems to go well except
when I run ./mrtg mrtg.cfg, then I get the following messages:

PROBLEM: rateup died from Signal 11
 with Exit Value 0 when doing router 'xxx.xxx.xxx.32.2'
 code was 11, retcode was . If this happens all the time,
 you should probably investigate the cause. :-)

gd-png:  fatal libpng error: Incompatible libpng version in application and
library

The above message is repeated for each target in the mrtg.cfg file...

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
