Accually, I have a similar need but first I have to figure out where the
network cable goes :)

Subject: [mrtg] some special use...

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have tried to monitor a Powerware UPS with MRTG ? I
have
tried several setup using OID (the standart one and the proprietary) but
mrtg just don't seems to pick up anything from my UPS. I would like to
monitor the load and some others stuff. There is no log file generated
currently but i don't get any error message when i run the MRTG file. I am
communicating with my UPS via a ConnectUPS.

Here is what i got:

Target[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]:
1.3.6.1.4.1.534.4.4.5.0&1.3.6.1.4.1.534.4.4.5.0:public at xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
MaxBytes[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]: 100
Title[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]: UPS Load
WithPeak[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]: dwmy
Options[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]: growright, absolute, gauge
YLegend[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]: percent
ShortLegend[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]: %
PageTop[xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx_load]:
Load Analysis for UPS Load

Any advice would be welcome

Marc
