[mrtg] Target line FORMAT ???

Dear all,
   The following line is from the config file of the guide of mrtg to 
windows NT.

Target[10.10.10.1.2]: 24:public at 10.10.10.1

What is the .2 after the IP 10.10.10.1 ?? I know that the port is 24 , but 
what is the .2 ???
