I'm running into the same problem and I've had no luck so far. My exact
error message is:

SNMP Error:
Received SNMP response with error code
  error status: noSuchName

Most likely this will be a configuration error.  Your target line should
look like this:

Target[x]: OID1&OID2:string at device

Fill in the correct values, for instance (I use fake values here):

Target[bla.cpu]: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1&1.3.6.1.2.1.1:supersecret at bla.bla.com

Things to watch:
Two OIDs separated by an ampersand
OIDs do not start with a dot (even if you have to use them with snmputil)
No whitespace, except for the one I showed in the example line

Next time, include the error message and the relevant parts of your
target definition when you ask for help.
