Ah... yes. I forgot this bug *sigh*. As a workaround insert the line

Interval: 5

into your mrtg.cfg (mrtg+rrdtool doesn't check if interval is set when
creating new rrd files). Another solution is to convert your old .log
files to rrd files (with rrdtool/contrib/log2rrd, don't forget to set
the correct data type with rrdtune).
