[mrtg] Creating my own logfile

Hi,

I want to graph the number of registered users of our
dialin service. I already have a logfile going back 3 years.
The logfile contains a per day datestamp and # of users.
Looking at the mrtg fileformat description, this shouldn't be
to difficult, but as I'm graphing on daily interval the standard "feed"
of rateup fails. I've tried the mrtg_stuffer, which comes standard with
the mrtg, buth is keeps complaining about entries with time "greater than
now".

Any tips/tricks how to convert this logfile to a mrtg readable file ?
