in our Cisco router(IOS:11.2):
#show interface
  ...
  ATM5/0.2 is up, line protocol is up
  ATM5/0.3 is up, line protocol is up
  ...

we can see all sub interfaces,but cannot get MIBs
information of sub-interfaces:
% snmpwalk 10.27.{xxx,yyy}.253 public interfaces
  ...
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.12 = ATM5/0-atm layer
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.13 = ATM5/0-aal5 layer
  ...

Do you have the technique to get these's MIBs on MRTG?

otherwise, another Cisco router(IOS:12.0),we can. IOS problems??

% snmpwalk 10.27.zzz.253 public interfaces
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.7 = ATM1/0/0-atm layer
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.8 = ATM1/0/0.0-atm subif
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.9 = ATM1/0/0-aal5 layer
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.10 = ATM1/0/0.0-aal5 layer
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.11 = Null0
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.12 = ATM1/0/0.1-atm subif
  interfaces.ifTable.ifEntry.ifDescr.13 = ATM1/0/0.1-aal5 layer
  ...
