[mrtg] how to keep old log file

Hi,
I would like to keep the traffic in M/day for
each interface.
MRTG is excuted every 5 min and it overwrite
old information.

I only intrested the total amount of traffic.
Is there any way I can keep the all log file or
at least one log file at the certain time.
