[mrtg] Cisco OID-s

How can I read an OID form a Cisco router?
I'm having problems as MRTG is recognizing the OID as a relative one,
not as an apsolute.
The OID I want to read is 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.47.1.1.6 (cmSystemModemsInUse)
I have tried with the dot in front and without it but no change!
