[mrtg] Disk drive space calculations

Hi all,

I think I'm reaching my limit for the number of questions I can ask in a week...but,

For the people who use MRTG to monitor disk space, do you bother to divide the value returned by 1.024 to get the correct value to display in the graphs? I realize for a 1gb drive this is only 24mb (right?), but when you've got 1 tb it's 2.4gb (right again?). I realize that it's a small percentage, but I'm trying to monitor space as closely as possible, and I would like to get this correct. BTW, when I do my calculations, I append a "/ 1.024" to the end of the target to get the right amount of bytes. IS this correct, or am I throwing everything off?

Thanks!

Paul Williamson
