[mrtg] the values are much too low

Hi all

i use mrtg on a SUSE Linux 6.4 Router. Despite download values of 230 KB

mrtg shows only 23 KB max on (Download over 20 min. ). Another Linux
Router shows correct values on.
In which place can I modify the adjustments?
