Here is the OID for Cisco CPU Utilization (1 minute and 5 minute) as well as
quite a few others we found to be useful.. :) My suggestion is to do a
manual SNMP Get and GetNext on them. Some of these require an additional
"port" tagged onto the end.
Ciscos :
CPU (5 Minute) 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.58.0
CPU (1 Minute) 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.1.57.0
Per interface:
ifInErrors 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.14
ifOutErrors 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.20
Should also graph in and out discards per interface.
ifInDiscards 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.13
ifOutDiscards 1.3.6.1.2.1.2.2.1.19
Per router:
ipOutDiscards 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.11
ipInDiscards 1.3.6.1.2.1.4.8
Temp in 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.1
Temp Out 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.2
Hotpoint 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3.3 (Only on
some routers)
Fore:
ATMTRAFFICIN 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.2.1.2.2.1.12.PORT
ATMFRAFFICOUT 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.2.1.2.2.1.18.PORT
ATMCPU 1.3.6.1.4.1.326.2.2.1.1.1.3.1.2
3Com Hiper Arcs :

Ethernet2 4:
Best UPS :

total UPS power capacity being used - integer expressed in % of 100)
upsBatteryRuntimeRemaining 1.3.6.1.4.1.2947.2.3 (remaining time in

Subject: [mrtg] CPU Utilization.
Hello,
I have just joined the list and have a question. How do I set up
MRTG to
read CPU utilization on a Cisco router? In the documents that I have, it
mentions that you need an OID number, but I do not kow where to pull that
value from. (ie: OID_1&OID_2:public at 192.168.1.1) If this question has
already been covered, then can someone direct me to where in the archives I
can look.
Thanks,
