[mrtg] Combining MRTG log files ???

Quick question, has anyone combined two log files ?
Situation : I was monitoring our internet traffic on one device, I have
switched to a new device. Obviously, I now only have a few days data in
these log files.  Can I some how take the data from the old log file and
append it to the new one ? 

Running MRTG-2.8.9 on NT
