[mrtg] Can i plot 3 variables in one graph?

The MRTG documentation says that i can "accumulate two or more data
sources into a single graph" but i didn't see any examples of this in
the documentation (unless you count the ability to add multiple
variables together to produce a single value) or in the <srcdir>/contrib
directory.  I would really like to plot 3 variables within a single
graph.  Does anyone know where i might find documentation to help me
with this?
