I read this mail as if it were saying:
"I declare the max as 15318, why is the top of the scale at 16000?"
If this is not correct, sorry.
This is not a bug, it is a feature. MRTG tries to find a nice looking
value for the top limit. In this case, it decided to choose 16.
If you really want to change that, you will need to hack rateup. As far
as I know this is not configurable.
Look near
/* mangle the 0.25*maxv value so, that we get a number with either */
/* one or two digits != 0 and these digits should be at the */
/* start of the number ... */
for the scale.
