Depending on what you want to monitor this may already be available.
Common things as interface statistics are often available by default. For
other useful stuff you need to edit a config file such as, for example, the
file /etc/snmpd.conf This I cannot help you with. Others?

This is what I ment to say: I don't know this for solaris.
