You can have a single MRTG server gather all the information from the various servers .. just use a perl script to capture this information and use the "rmon" command to gather this information for the other servers.

First, before I get flamed, let me say that I have looked through the
archives and cannot find what I am looking for.

Basically, I have had no problems whatsoever getting MRTG to report
router/access server/switch/ATM stats, but I am now in the process of
setting up monitoring of our servers. We use mainly FreeBSD 3.4 and Redhat
6.x, with some Sun boxes thrown in for fun. I need to get stats such as
cpu, memory, disk space, etc. from them. Can anyone point me to a reference
of how to set this up? Do I need to do something special to the box being
polled, or to the box doing the polling? I am completely at a loss
here.......thanks for any help.
