Well, on Full Duplex links you can exceed your 100% mark, because you get
bandwidth going both ways. So it's not a real measurement.
You could still display 100k of usage, but it's not really 100kper second of
usage in the interface. it's 40k of usage on the inbound channel, and 60k on
the outbound. their not really using up the same space, so it doesn't really
make sense to graph it that way.
On half duplex links, it makes sense though, since the link really is limited
to 10mbit both ways.
I couldn't begin to tell you how to do it though. I suppose you could do it
with RRD tool, but I don't know how.
