All you need to do to get the Windows 2000 ping program for an NT
workstation 4.0 is to get the icmp.dll and the ping.exe from a Windows
2000 machine. I've successfully been able to implement this on a Windows
NT Workstation 4.0 using the Windows 2000 ping program.

Yes It is possible to use this for Ping Response time.

Check out the Contributed section that deals with Ping.

It tells you how to set it up.

You will also need the NT 5 (now called W2000) ping program.
