Which version of MRTG are you running? The newer ones have a feature
called "runasdaemon" and you don't need any service or batch file to run.

Subject: [mrtg] Using Batch files

Hello Everyone,

I need some help with the batch files.

I'm at the bat file part. I did make the changes in the batch file to point
to the right Directory. There are 6 batch files. The directions say to have
the scheduler service run automat. I don't have the scheduler service
installed. I'm using the Resource Kits for NT, The command scheduler is the
WinAt. It also tell me to run 3at.bat now every 5 minutes all the other
batch files will run automatically. I'm not sure if I set this up
correctly.
I'm not seeing any graph detail in my inetpub\wwwroot\mrtg dir..I want to
make sure that I'm looking at the right file.

Can you please help,
Thanks Jacqueline
