I have getif and I walked the MIB. However I have a hard time to figure out which OID to query to get
results for memory usage ... paging ... disk space etc. etc.
I guess I am looking for something like:

1. CPU Utilization in % = 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.3.1.1.2.0
2. CPU Utilization in % = 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.11.2.3.1.1.2.1
1. Disk Free in KBytes = 1.3.6.1.4.1.232.?.?.?.?
etc.
But that would be too easy I am afraid ...

Anyways .. any help is greatly appreciated.

  Andy,

You have to get a MIB browser such as getif and point it to your Compaq
server and search below enterprise OID 232 for the Compaq SNMP counters
and others things (311 is Microsoft).

When you find and OID you want to monitor with MRTG, you only have to
cut and paste it in your mrtg.cfg file.

I did this a lot at work for our Compaq servers and it worked great.

You can download getif from here:
  http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Hills/8260/

In order to be able to browse the Compaq MIBs you have to "compile"
them with getif (this is explained, I think, in the getif
  documentation).
