Hi Nasir (or Hi Kamal???),
1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7 stands for:
.iso.org.dod.internet.private.enterprises.ascend.advancedAgent.wanLineTable.
wanLineEntry.wanLineActiveChannels (original all in one line ...)
In 1.3.6.1.4.1.529.4.21.1.7.2 the .2 at the end is an index to the second
entry in the wanLineActiveChannels table. Think this is one of your E1
(or T1) interfaces like it is in our MAX6000's
So this entry shows the currently active channels on that one of your E1's.
But might be there are some other interfaces and interfacetypes.
If they have active channels, there could be some more sessions than only
the ones for that E1.
If you use ppp-multilink, maybe a connection uses 2 channels but is only
one session.
An example from us: We have 5 leased lines on BRI interfaces and one leased
line
on serial interface. Makes 6 sessions even if no one is dialed in on our E1!
This means: You are not counting sessions and therefore the value you get is
different from active sessions.
Why don't you count
1.3.6.1.4.1.529.10.6.0 which is .......eventCurrentActiveSessions
I can count it on our MAX6000's. (We don't have a TNT)
It shows the right values.
We have software version 7.0. Maybe OID's changed for 7.4? You should be
able to get
new MIB-files from Ascend/Lucent if this is true.

Subject: [mrtg] Sessions/FreeLines -- Ascend Max-3000
1.. There is a problem is that it shows me the Maximum/Average/Current
Seesion and Maximum/Average.Current Free lines equal .I mean It shows for
example 22 current sessions then it shows 22 free lines ??
2.. It does'nt show me the correct number of sesions/users logged into
the access server, it shows 8, 9 sessions less.
Here is the CFG file I have copied from somewhere for MAX-TnT, but I have
changed the OID in it.
