Solaris comes with an snmp agent already loaded and running (with the default
community names of course)

if you want to run UCD SNMP, do the following:

/etc/rc3.d/S76snmpdx stop
/etc/rc3.d/S77dmi stop
rm /etc/rc3.d/S76snmpdx
rm /etc/rc3.d/S77dmi

then you can start UCD SNMP and add it to a startup script of it's own.
