[mrtg] Re: portName - OID Help

ifName isnt what the name of the port is on a switch. ive done a snmpget on
the OID i said and thats it. ifName is only for rotuers, portName is for
switches.

Try ifName:

1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.1

which is

internet.mgmt.mib-2.ifMIB.ifMIBObjects.ifXTable.ifXEntry.ifName

This is what cfgmaker polls.
