That's is great if you have a cisco switch.

The OID you mentioned is proprietary to them.   Perhaps cfgmaker senses the
switch manufacturer and uses the appropriate OID's when it can.

Unfortunately, I am using 3Com switches so cfgmaker never tried to poll a
cisco OID and restriced itself to the ifName (which is not under the
manufacturer mib tree).

The agent in my switch does not support the ifMIB as I was not able to SET
the ifName.
