Have you tried:
1. doing a few of snmpgets against those interfaces (maybe three, during the
time you think you're getting errors) for ifInErrors and ifOutErrors, and
making sure the counter is actually incrementing--if it's not, no errors
2. if it is, how much is it incrementing? You may not be getting enough
data for mrtg to notice: mrtg takes the delta (amount of change) between
the current value and the previous value, and divides that by the number of
seconds between polling periods. If you are running mrtg at the default 5
minutes, this is 300 seconds. You have to have a delta of more than 300 for
traffic to register on mrtg. If your traffic is really low, it won't show
up. If this is your problem, look at the 'perminute' and 'perhour' options.
