[mrtg] mrtg not working with cron

I am running MRTG 2.9.4 on a Sun machine with Solaris 2.6.
I am trying to run mrtg as a cronjob, but the graphs or .log file in the
workdir don't update, the .html and the .ok file do update.  When I run
mrtg from the command line, everything updates fine. Has anyone seen
this or have any suggestions on how to correct it?
