I'll volunteer.  (Hmm...in my copious spare time!  Yeah, right.)  I actually
did a tiny little bit of work on the 'unofficial faq' with Alex, creating
just such a doc as you suggested.

But will they use it?  It seems most of the people on lists in general don't
even bother to read the list guidelines.
