[mrtg] Cisco Catalyst Switch Interfaces/Ports

I am trying to modify the cfgmaker from MRTG 2.8.12 to get the NAME for each
port in a Catalyst 5509 switch. This is OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.4.1.1.4 (I found
it under the workgroup subgroup of Cisco), which lists the Name. I understand
how the CiscolocIfDescr OID works, it takes that mib (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.2.2.1.1.28)
and attaches the index of the target to get the description if it is a router
with IOS 11.2 and above. I would think that I need the name mib
(1.3.6.1.4.1.9.5.1.4.1.1.4) to attach the module index no (which is different
than the index of the target interface). I have modified my cfgmaker to run
this, but it is not working.
After such a long description of what I would like to do, my question is... is
anyone monitoring Cisco 5509 switches and modified a cfgmaker to pull in the
correct port names, instead of having to manually change it? Otherwise, some
help on modifying the cfgmaker (and whatever else) to pull the module no. like
it pulls the index for every target.
Very confusing, but will be great when it works.
